දුම්වැටි ඇසුරුම්වල 80%ක ප්රමාණයක ඉන් සිදුවන ජීවිත හානිය ගැන රූපමය අවවාද ඇතුළත් කිරීමට සෞඛ්ය ඇමති මෛත්රිපාල සිරිසේන මහතා ගෙන ආ යෝජනාව දුම්කොළ සමාගම විසින් මග හැර ඇතැයි කියමින් (17දා) කොළඹ කොටුව දුම්රිය නැවතුම්පළ ඉදිරිපිට විරෝධතාවයක් පැවැත්විණ. දුම්වැටියෙන් නිදහස් දේශයක් උදෙසා ජාතික සංවිධාන එකමුතුව විසින් මෙම විරෝධතාවය සංවිධානය කර තිබුණි.protested in front of the Fort railway station yesterday
Anti-tobacco activists protested in front of the Fort railway station yesterday (17) against the delay in implementing the gazette notification which makes it mandatory for pictorial warnings to be printed on packets of tobacco products covering 80 per cent of both front and back.
